I am now (as of March, 2011) offering paid consulting services for homes and businesses. This consulting involves a general examination of the surrounding environment, a Flying Star Feng Shui analysis, and Eight Mansions recommendations for the residents.
I have studied Feng Shui theory for ten years now, but am still very much a learner. In addition, my practical experience to date has been limited to personal use, and applications for friends, family and my workplace. The rates I am charging are commensurate with this level of experience.
My expectation is that the majority of clients will choose a remote consultation. This will involve using satellite imaging, client-supplied photos and client-provided floor plans to perform the consultation. I will need detailed information about the construction date of the property, any major renovations that have taken place since construction, the birth dates of the residents, and a floor plan of the building. If desired, I can create a computer floor plan from a paper copy, for an additional fee. I will also need the compass direction that the building faces. I can accept checks or Paypal for payment. The fee I charge for this service is $0.05 per square foot, with an additional $0.025 per square foot if a computerized floor plan is requested.
Local clients may also be interested in a personal consultation. If you live within a 50-mile radius of my home (Indianapolis, IN), I will travel to your location and take the compass reading myself. I will also take the floor plan measurements in person, if desired. The base rate for this service is also $0.05 per square foot for the consultation itself. I charge an additional $0.05 to create the floor plan from scratch or $0.025 to convert a provided floor plan to a computerized version, and a fee of $.25 per mile for travel expenses.
